Alex Tritten – 1 Handed Forward
Local windsurfer and kiting legend Alex Tritten pulled off this end over 1 handed forward during the 2009 event, that year he competed with Steve King and Dave Horrocks for the Ams title.
Ben Proffitt – Stalled Forward
There are more impressive moves from Ben caught on camera but this clip happened during the 2012 event and it really shows great windsurfing and the energy that Rhosneigr delivers, the Irish Sea can get really wild.
Adam Lewis - Double
Adam Lewis is improving year by year and in 2014 on a major comeback through the double elimination he was landing some of the best double forwards ever seen in Rhosneigr, this clip shows him doubling to glory against Ben Proffitt.
Chris Murray – Double Crash
Back in 2009 Chris Murray was attempting doubles and the result was some of the best double wipeouts you might ever have seen, here is one of our favourites.
Andy King – Wave Crash
Andy King has some great highlights but this wipeout heading out during the 2009 event is a classic, charging out with the wave slightly to broken has probably happened to most wave sailors and normally ends up in a spectacular crash and this one we caught on camera.
Chris Murray – Snowfing
Back in 2010 the Rhosneigr event used to start on the ski slopes of Llandudno, George Shillito and Chris Murray adapted a snowboard and invented Snowfing, pretty unsuccessful over the large kicker but a magic moment for sure.
Phil Horrocks – Big Backie
Rhosneigr delivers great conditions for backlooping and local ripper Phil Horrocks does em bigger than most, here is a big backie during the 2009 event.
Phil Horrocks – Through Wave
Possibly the only time this has been caught on camera, Phil Horrocks heading out during the 2009 event, lands a good pushloop and then sails straight through the next wave!! Literally just sheets in ducks the head through an head-logo high section and carries on sailing away, amazing!! The nearest windsurfing gets to duck diving waves.
John Skye – Taka
During the 2014 event John Skye produced the perfect flowing Taka, one of the fastest and smoothest seen during a competition at Rhosneigr.
The King Brothers – Warming Up
The King brothers love to entertain and this warm up moment amongst the vans during the 2009 event is classic Kingy action.
