Having had nearly 8 months off, it is no easy feat to select our favourites for the first event of the year in Costa Brava. The slalom guys have been putting in the hours both on and off the water and windsurfing gear is faster than it has ever been.

Taking experience, recent results, the forecast and in some cases body build as factors, then our choices become a little more narrowed. However, we had to choose from an elite rank of very talented racers and no doubt opinions will vary, so speak out and let your voice be heard in the comments section below, we are certain some will have been training in ‘secret’.
