How quick can the professionals rig their gear? Who’s super speedy and organised? And who can’t even thread their own downhaul?

In previous Boardseeker podcasts, Alfie Hart has challenged the UK’s best wave sailors to completely rig their equipment from start to finish, as fast as they can. Phil Horrocks is currently leading the way, but as we take the challenge to the PWA will he be beaten?

Rules:

Equipment must be totally separate at the start of the challenge. Mast separate, sail full rolled up etc.

It must be rigged, ready to sail for a whole sessions (tension on down and out haul, ropes tied off, etc).

Penalties:

5 secs for outhaul issue

10 secs for downhaul issue
