Christopher Friis joins Boardseeker to bring us his top tips on the move of the moment, the Wave 360. Check out the screen grab gallery below packed full of tips and the video of the move itself.

How to do Wave 360’s.
The Wave 360 is one of the most respected wave maneuvers in windsurfing. It is also one of the hardest and the one which gives you the best feeling when you land it properly! Learning this move can take years and it requires a lot of patience and persistence. Just keep on trying them until you get them right! You will get there eventually!

Not getting it right?
The most common problem with the Wave 360 is if your mast tip keeps hitting the wave when you start the rotation. You are probably pulling in with your back hand to start the rotation then. Do not pull it in, try to keep it as open as you can for as long as you can and carve with the board instead. If you are still having this problem try with more speed.
