Things are looking better and better for the 2013 PWA tour, first Chile is confirmed and now it looks like the Aloha Classic could be part of the tour too...
Announcing a name change for the AWT final 2013 event from Maui Makani Classic to Aloha Classic!
"Contest window for the Aloha Classic is October 24th-November 6th. Permits allow us to run 11 of the 14 days. We will hold our awards party on Saturday, November 2nd. All completed divisions up to that point will be awarded at that time and any final awards will be presented at the beach Sunday the 3rd through Wednesday the 6th of November condition dependent.
"All are welcome to participate in this event. Register today at AmericanWindsurfingTour.com as spots are limited to the first 100 competitors registered.
What do you think? Who would you like to see compete in the Aloha Classic? And how could it mix things up on the PWA tour? Will it tempt the likes of Kevin Pritchard, Bernd Roediger and Levi Siver onto further stops of the tour? Or will they just go for all out glory in Maui?
Will Polakow and Seadi return to competition? Could this finally bring an all round champion? Making sailors like Brawzinho even more in the running to beat Koester? Or will Koester (after all he has sailed in Maui a fair bit!) still remain take the win?
So many questions...all will be answered very soon, but for now, share your views in the comments below!
