The Breakdown – Mon 29th – Pozo, Swift, Brawzinho and more…

Monday morning and we are hyped for what the week has to offer. There’s been huge waves striking across much of Western Australia, wind and waves are forecast for Pozo where almost all the big name wave guys and girls are all at and the course area of the Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenge (where we are currently based) is set to light up as that same weather system fills into the race area from today onwards.

Talking of Pozo, one such person who will be attending is none other than Ben Proffitt, who has uploaded his 3rd episode of the training diaries, which includes some pretty interesting shifty tries from Marcilio Browne amongst other great features, such as the best footwear practice and more…

Two people who will be fighting for the title in Pozo have to be Marcilio Browne and Robby Swift. The two are on fine form and any one of them could take the win. Of course they will have to make it past the likes of Victor Fernandez, Ricardo Campello and the mighty force of Köster first, but with push forwards like you see in this new clip from Swift, the two are right on the money.

In the world of freestyle Amado Vrieswijk has been updating from the Windmeet Freestyle Tour stop dedicated to Vincent Mellouet. Vriweswijk, who is on a tour of Europe, managed to steal the show during the tow-in side of the event with a perfect burner into burner, see below.

Lastly, a chance to brush up on your windsurfing history. This video has been doing the rounds on social media over the weekend. Giving us an insight into the history of windsurfing in a little over 22 minutes. Nothing like a history lesson to kick start Monday morning.

That’s it for the Breakdown today, stay tuned to our facebook page however as we bring you plenty of updates from the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge today.
