Graham Ezzy talks about his plans for 2014:
“Yes, I am going to do the full PWA wave tour. I leave for a Cape Town in a few weeks to start some much needed port tack training.
PWA riders can only use boards and sails from PWA brand members. So, for me to compete on Ezzy Sails, Ezzy Sails needs to pay the fee to become a brand member.”
Footage in windsurfing dates quickly, something that’s one or two years old can often look dated already. But this footage from Hookipa, two years ago, still looks incredibly fresh today.
Graham Ezzy recently found this and put it together fairly quickly, and we love this short, snappy 3 minutes.
With all the talk about sponsor changes for 2014, we can help thinking about every rider on the tour and what they will do. Graham Ezzy has already said he will be aiming to compete more in the PWA in 2014, will he change sponsors to suit his new aims? As he is riding his Dad’s sails and has been more than happy on Quatro for a long time now, we would be very surprised if Graham did make any moves. But, you never know, especially this year!
“Hookipa Lookback” 3 minutes of action with Graham Ezzy from Ezzy Sails on Vimeo.
Graham finds old footage and makes an edit. Here are his words:
“Going through hard drives on this Sunday afternoon, I found 2-year-old footage from the Don’t Let Go Maui filming (shot by Manu Grafenauer). The clips are of a more traditional, Hookipa flavor than the adventure filming I’ve been doing in Mexico, California, and Madagascar (coming soon!). I couldn’t help throwing the footage together into a 3-minute action edit. It’s 2 years old but still very relevant. -G”
