Registration for the 2015 Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenge is now open, however with just 100 places available time is running out to be a part of this thoroughly enjoyable event. With only a few short months to go we can say from first hand experience that this is certainly one not to miss. Open to all you can bring the family or just go it alone, kids as young as 10 are currently entered right up to Björn’s father Eugene, who at the age of 70 was last years oldest competitor and will be on hand to show a few people how it’s done. There are just a few places left so head on over to the facebook page to pay your entry fee and confirm your place.
There will be plenty of other great names on hand as the event will also be combined with the European Speed Championships where some of the fastest windsurfers in the world will battle it out to be crowned the 2015 European Speed Champion. So if you aren’t so much of a competitive person then there is always the chance to pick the brains of these windsurfing legends whilst attempting to persuade your competitive side out. With a strong emphasis on being a Pro/Am event the organisers and Björn Dunkerbeck himself are keen to see anyone and everyone enter just to enjoy time on the water at one of Europe’s top speed destinations with other like minded windsurfers.
