For this afternoon we have this awesome edit that lines up two of the most outstanding windsurfers right now, Levi Siver faces Marcilio Browne. Really you are in for a treat, super tweaked aerial style takas, massive no handed goiters and insane wave rides, just a whole other level!
Up next is one for fans of the frozen water and rails... sweet edit.
Fresh off the blocks are these two videos. Yes it is speed sailing but we feel like it's been neglected a little bit since the record breaking runs of Namibia just a couple weeks ago, so here is a double dose for you, and they are both ladies. Fast windsurfing ladies, one a world record holder and the other sponsored by Red Bull... guys don't get too excited!
The first will be Zara Davies, born and breed in the UK, she currently stands as the fastest female windsurfer on the planet and has been making quite a few well deserved headlines lately. Here we catch up with her as she speaks with the BBC.
Hot on her heels is the one and only Lena Erdil. From Turkey, she too has been breaking records of her own and now stands right behind Zara in the race for the speed title. If you were struggling to find speed sailing interesting in the last month or so then this might just change your mind, a really incredible film from Red Bull about Lena and her time at that dusty, sandy trench.
With the perfect shot becoming ever more popular lately thanks to the ability to Like and Share that image across Facebook it seems like it gets harder and harder to impress as standards rise and rise again. One person who is always at the forefront of this is the one and only John Carter. JC has always inspired many with his shots from both at home and away and continues to do so as he brings together his most favourite shots of 2012 to present to us in two windsurfing calendars. One contains shots all taken within the UK alone whilst the other takes us on a tour around the best beaches Earth can provide. Well how about that for the ideal Christmas present... Want one? Then head on over to www.openshutcalendars.com for more and here is a sneak peak of one of JC's finest.
Over with the Pritchard brothers and Matt recently posted his thoughts about the last 10 years, musing over what could be in store for the next 10 years. Some taking the 12.12.12 date with a bit of thought we see, all in all though we found it worth posting and let us know your thoughts below, was the past 10 years good for you, how was the session count, will the world really end in 7 days? Read all about it here.
Popping over to South Africa now we have another video for you. Combining it with a clinic, we are starting to notice SA as a bit of a Guru hot spot with the likes of John Skye and Nayra Alonso having run their own windsurfing camps down there, it looks like the Italian Fabio Calo will be producing his own master class. Why not check it out and jump on board by taking a look at last years video to see what it is all about.
Lastly, for those with a few minutes on their hand, Starboard/Tushingham have produced a nice little report about their iSonic speed boards. Popular with the pros, including Bjorn Dunkerbeck, this could be worth a read if speed is your thing.
