Inside Tenerife: Competition Continues

Competition got off to a slow start on the second day, however quite a few rounds were complete and there were certainly some incredible highlights, check them out from our inside man…

A cloudy start to the day meant a slow start with the wind not kicking in till late.

Boujmaa showed that with a bit more competition under his belt he could do some real damage as he nearly knocked out Traversa.

British up and coming Adam Lewis had a dissapointing heat where he looked to miss time the start giving Brawzinho the chance to secure his place with an opening one footed backie pretty much landing on the wave, which he then performed a almost perfect frontside 360 on! He also stuck a sick double that Koester would have been more than happy with!

Campello also showed that his jumping could challenge Koester if it came to it with a double of his own off what looked like a bit of chop! The afternoon brought smaller waves and the guys struggled to find the ramps for there jumps but still showed an impressive display of moves.

Proffitt opens with a perfect tweaked pushloop

Proffitt had the enviable task of meeting Koester!! He gave a great display which could of really challenged any of the other top riders but in his trade mark style Koester opened with a huge double in almost matrix style as he somehow hangs in the air to complete both rotations.
