The much anticipated forecast has arrived for what could be the start of some new world speed records. With the likes of Antoine Albeau, Patrik Diethelm, Farrel O’shea and more already on course and clocking some early speeds we are expecting an exciting few days as the winds build and the guys and girls tune in.
Follow the speeds as they happen over on the Luderitz Speed Challenge official Facebook page.
Also soon to arrive is Björn Dunkerbeck, who we know will also be keen to take the top spot this year as he continues to push and promote his Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenges.
Here’s a short gallery of a light wind warm-up session, our fingers are crossed for those putting everything on the line to be the quickest windsurfers in the world.
