Fuerteventura is just about to start!
After the crazy strong winds from Fuerte, everyone was expecting to come to Fuerte and relax a bit. But actually, the wind has been blowing hard down in Sotavento Beach.
The Fuerteventura event is one of the more exciting ones, with the action going on right by the beach, both in Slalom and Freestyle
In the Slalom it will be difficult that anyone beat Antoine. But I bet you they will try. Bjorn is hungry for a victory, and so are Kevin Pritchard and Finian Maynard who are fighting for 2nd and 3rd in the ranking. . And in the ladies, Valerie Ghibaudo will try to mend her mistakes from the Costa Brava event, whilst Iballa will try her best to keep her actual second position in the ranking.
In the Freestyle Gollito Estredo will have the chance to pull his moves right in front of the public, waving to the crowds, just the way he likes to do the show. Brawzinio will fight hard trying to win the event to sep his options open to renew his world title. And Ricardo Campello, who must still be stocked with his result in Pozo, will be all fired up trying also to have possibilities to win back his old title at the end of the season.
In the girls, Sarah-Quita has a lot of chances to become Freestyle world Champion for the first time (and we think wont be the last!). But Daida will try really hard not to let her title go.
Today is the registration day for the Slalom, which will last until the 23rd, when the Freestyle will start, so keep tuned to know what’s up.
