Just a last minute heads-up for anyone not aware of this! International JP-NP team rider Kauli Seadi will be stopping by at Riks shop in the county of Rutland, this Sunday 10th August from about 2pm onwards, along with Andy Chambers, both of whom are back in the UK after running the JP Young Gun Camp in Rhodes throughout the last week. Rik and the crew will be showcasing the 2009 ranges from JP Australia & Neil Pryde, for many it will be the first opportunity to check out the new toys for the forthcoming year. Kauli has had extensive involvement developing his signature sail, The Fly, new to the Neil Pryde range and influencing many of the other ’09 sails in some way or another, so that’s going to be cool to see! He’ll also be stoked to chat about the new JP Twinser boards that he’s helped develop with JP designer Werner Gnigler; he’ll be able to tell you about the advantages, how can the boards be tuned for specific conditions and your own needs…and of course much much more… These opportunities don’t come around very often so please please try and make it over and listen and learn from someone at the very top end of our sport. Riks site will be open from about 1pm, there’s going to be lots of on-the-day special offers, a BBQ, and also a free prize draw if you pre-register with Rik. For full details check out Riks web page here: http://www.riks-sports.com/news/2008/07-08/kauli/kauli.html Coming from a distance away? Wind is forecast for Saturday & early on Sunday so why not come and sail at Rutland Water (five mins from Riks), camp over Saturday night then get down to Riks on Sunday afternoon after a morning sailing sesh? Some local links for camping etc are shown here: http://www.riks-sports.com/location/location.htm Launching at Rutland is available from either the north shore at Whitwell or the south shore Sailing Club site. Hope to see you on Sunday. Rik & Co
