Following the success of the wave jam events, Will Rogers and John Palmer came up with a similar concept for freestyle. The "on forecast" freestyle tour aims to get the best freestylers to the best locations, on the right day, with the right wind. Hopefully the series will push the level of freestyle in the UK and increase exposure for windsurfing in general.

The 1st Xpression event was run over the stormy weekend of the 17th-18th January in Portland Harbour and was a great success. A fantastic turn out of some of the UK hottest freestylers enjoyed some insane conditions. With 25kts of wind most of the weekend, sailors were using 4.2-4.7 both Saturday and Sunday on the perfect flat water of the harbour.

The winner was Max Rowe, just edging ahead of John Palmer in 2nd with a no handed flaka in the final seconds. 3rd went to Will, with Adam coming forth, forced to use a borrowed board after breaking his nose off.
