Nik Baker wins the overall Slalom title with Ricardo Campello in second, Josh Angulo in 3rd and Jose Estredo and Kauli Seadi tying for fourth place.

UK\'s Ben Proffit just missed out on a place in the final four as he went out in the first round. The tensions was such that there were plenty of bust ups in the pool. One hightlight was when Ricardo tried to overtake Cyril Moussilmani and just catapulted on top of his board half way down the first straight. Also taking no prisoners was Daida Moreno, she was ousted from the final by her sister and Junko Nagoshi. In the losers final Nayra Alonso sailed a blinder and was leading the whole way, until Daida pretty much sailed over her at the final gybe mark. In the tussle it looked like Nayra was going to get away first, but lady luck was not on her side as a gust caught the clew of her sail and sent it off downwind allowing Daida through.

Ricardo gave Nik a good battle in the final, but really it was Nik in complete control, he dropped one gybe, unusual for him, but he got it together leaving the world freestyle champion in his wake. Iballa Moreno won the slalom today but her sister Daida won overall.
