The 2009 National Windsurfing Week is back on track. After the decision to cancel back in March, there were so many phone calls and emails from the general public. Everyone was disappointed and so many people offered their support that there was no other choice but to bring it back to life.

The organizers of the NWW had a meeting last week with a number of the industry representatives, and they are really happy to announce that the National Windsurfing Week will go ahead, on the same dates it was planned before, from the 2nd to the 10th of May.

With this change of plans, there is not really much time to advertise and pubiicise the campaign, but we are pretty sure that everyone will once again so everything they can to support this great campaign.

A lot of promotion has been done already through the Sunrise to Sunset event, which makes a fantastic flagship event to launch the week. We encourage everyone to register for the event and get on the water on Sunday May 3rd. Their website can be found at http://www.sunrisesunset.ws/ssindex.htm

The NWW website (www.nationalwindsurfingweek.org) is up again and will keep you updated on everything. Any schools, shops, distributors or manufacturers should register their event via the website or by sending an e-mail to admin@nationalwindsurfingweek.org
