After the massive success of the Ireland UKWA contest last weekend, the UK tour moves on to the windsurf capital of the north... Rhosneigr.
Combining Round 1 of the slalom tour, with Round 2 of the wave tour, plus the second leg of the Irish sea Challenge, this promises to be the biggest UK event in a long time.
Add to that a whole host of UK stars: Nik Baker is bringing his demo van full of toys, Ant Baker will be having a looping clinic on the beach, plus look out for all the top names in the UKWA wave and slalom world: UKWA Ireland winner, Jamie Hancock, Jamie Hawkins, John Skye, Andy King, plus of course local stars Phil Horrocks and Ben Proffitt and Boardseeker editor and UK womens wave legend Louise Emery.
On top of all that Jem Hall will be on hand to talk you through the weekend, dish out top tips and let you try all his latest RRD and Ezzy gear.
Also remember to pack all your gear as all wave competitors can enter the slalom for free. With the likes of Skye and Proffitt reportedly tuning up their race gear it could be an interesting mix for the racers.
On top of that there will be the usual Rhosneigr treat of free ski slope action on the Saturday night, so bring your gloves along as well.
So get yourself to North Wales this weekend. Pro Wavesailing starts on Friday the 15th, with the other fleets joining the party on the 16th.
