The action is ON in the Reunión Wave Classic. Today is the third day of competition and so far they had two good days of sailing, especially yesterday, when the riders had some hard core sailing in the infamous Ravine Blanche. Are we getting left behind in the fight for the Speed World Record? It seems like l\'Hydroptere have conquest two new records during the past weekend: the 500 metres (with a speed of 51,36 Knots) and the nautical mile (with a speed of 48,72 Knots). The 2009 RS:X World Championship is under way in Weymouth. So far, in the womens fleet, the Spanish Marina Alabau (ESP 5) and Blanca Manchon (ESP 1) and leading the event with authority, while Briony Shaw (GBR 94) is in 9th position, but with many days to make a come-back. In the men fleet, Nick Dempsey (GBR 1) is in second following closely the event leader, Dorian van Rijsselberge (NED 8). Provisional results from the RS:X.
