So, PWA Kia Cold Hawaii, Denmark, started today at Klitmoller ... or rather it didn\'t as head judge Duncan Coombs has stood everyone down on a flat, still day one. The forecast looks all-time though – get in the mood for the action to come at the PWA site, packing with Proffitt, on the road with Skyeboy and Boujmaa, in situ with Kevin Pritchard, in the tent with Riders.de (this list could go on...)
And, with big thanks to PWA media main man Paul Griffiths on the live ticker for flagging it up, take a look at today\'s skippers\' meeting and full interviews with the favourites in a \'Cold Hawaii Mash Up\' from the Cold Hawaii site. (Hope you\'re sitting comfortably? Cos it goes on too – about half an hour in fact!)
From long to long and wide, here\'s something a bit novel from Starboard – their Catamaran is based on a pair of Serenity boards with a deck to allow a couple of passengers on board. Sounds like a boat, eh? But it\'s still got a UJ, so it\'s still windsurfing in our book...
Talking of controversy, Howard at Fisher Viking is repeating rumours about a fist fight between a surfer and windsurfer up in North Devon - sad news if it\'s true...
And finally, on a brighter note (and as if you needed more inspiration to get out on the water given half a chance) check out blind sportsman Xavier Mandico on the North Sails site. Still windsurfing? No trouble. Next? Crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. Legend.
