On a day New Zealand has hit the global headlines following Christchurch\'s devastating earthquake, a report on the NZ Windsurfing Slalom Nationals and IFCA Oceanic Slalom Champs has been posted to ifca.internationalwindsurfing.com – in the men\'s fleet Dunedin\'s Gareth Wood beat James Dinnis (Taranaki) and Rowan Law (Perth) to the prize, while Annie Crombie (Christchurch) took the women\'s over Sue Bradley (Queenstown).

Talking of global headlines, as unrest ripples out through the Middle East, Egypt seems to be settling down after the uprising.
