Out on Margarita Island, the Fanatic / North pairing of Jose \'Gollito\' Estredo and Yoli de Brendt won the freestyle contest at Copa ONA 2011, El Yaque last weekend. No great surprise there, but you could be excused a double-take when you read that Gollito\'s second in the racing on his new Fanatic Falcons and North Warps have seen him crowned Venezuelan Slalom Champion! Might we see him follow Sarah-Quita\'s crossover from tricking to racing on the World Tour? More at fanatic.com

And finally, we\'d like to join the whole world windsurfing community in wishing Andre Paskowski the best of luck as we learn his year-long battle with cancer isn\'t over yet. Despite being declared \'all clear\' by doctors earlier this year, Andre is back in hospital in Germany for more surgery and more chemo. Be strong, Andre. Meanwhile the best way to lend your support is to follow the project Andre\'s been focussing his attention on – Minds Wide Open at facebook.com/mindswideopen
