Last Friday, the much anticipated Red Bull Rockets contest took place in Pozo. Unfortunately, Pozo seems to have been suffering from light winds of late and the conditions weren\’t classic. However, Dario Ojeda still managed an 11m jump! Best trick went to Philip Koster, while Ricardo Campello managed to get the best wipeouts! More info on Continent Seven

The Aruba PWA event is now over and the freestylers are heading to the Canaries for the Lanzarote event. Steven Van Broeckhoven managed another first place and is currently standing just behind Kiri Thode in second place overall. Steven is definitely a force to be reckoned with and it is anyone\’s guess who is going to be champion this year.

In the slalom, Bjorn pipped Antoine to the post and has consolidated his lead. See the PWA Website for more.

Back to the UK and Adam Sims won the UKWA Freestyle Event in Mumbles, near Swansea. He pulled of some difficult moves in conditions to impress the judges who had to watch through binoculars! A full event report from Trevor Funnel on Windsurfer International
