After a full day\'s competition yesterday and an early start this morning, we already have a single elimination result from PWA Tenerife. Let\'s be honest, the conditions at Cabezo in El M├ędano have been lacklustre at times but the cream of talent has still risen to the top. Philip Koster took the men\'s with an awesome double-forward from a ripping Jaeger Stone in second, followed by Kauli Seadi in third and local legend (and event organiser) Dany Bruch in fourth. It\'s a more familiar line-up at the head of the women\'s fleet as Daida Moreno took first from her sister Iballa, followed by Nayra Alonso who will no doubt be delighted with third ahead of her Pozo nemesis Karin Jaggi. It\'s been a pretty decent contest for the Brits. Unfortunately Graham Woods went down in round one, but fellow ex-OTC staffer Adam Lewis stormed his first round heat against Kai Lenny, only to go down to Skyeboy in the second round. Phil Horrocks lost out to Dario Ojeda in round two while Jamie Hancock went down to Peter Volwater, but Ben Proffitt progressed to round three where he was outdone by Kauli Seadi. Robby Swift took out John Skye to meet eventual winner Philip Koster in the quarter-finals where Ross Williams finally lost out to local Dany Bruch having taken down Campello on his way. And we\'re already well into the double now - enjoy the live streaming footage courtesy of the PWA right here, with awesome commentary from the one and only Ben Proffitt (whenever he\'s not out competing, of course...)
