News Headlines – Tues 29th

We kick off today then with the news that the PWA have come up with a ‘no-limits’ initiative to challenge anyone in windsurfing to push the level. However the ‘PWA Awards’ is yet without a name and they are after some killer suggestions. E-mail your ideas to [email protected] (maximum of 26 characters, including spaces) or for more.

Moving on to our first movie and it looks like the great RDM vs SDM mast debate goes on. Monty Spindler, designer of Loft Sails spills the beans.

He then goes on to explain the differences between the 4 and 5 batten wave sails.

Whilst on waves, here is an early call for this weekends SWA Exeter Wave event supported by PuraVida and Fanatic/North. The Wild Wild West Country theme should create a bit of entertainment at the party and if past events are anything to go by then there should be some epic action on the water also. Details here –

From grass roots to full time superstars, it looks like Levi Siver’s new site is complete – With regular updates on his blog, including videos of people who have been an inspiration to him. Even the epic slideshow on the home page is worth a few minutes.

UMI again and it looks like they are tantalizing would be entries to their editing competition with a post on the Kontiki Beach Resort in Bonaire, where the winner and one other lucky person will be staying for a week. for more.

Checking out surf-matic seems to show that Graham Ezzy scored an incredibly rare solo session at a massive Hookipa. Some great pictures over on

Back in the UK and we could be seeing some similar sessions over the next week. In the meantime UK Ezzy rider James Cox scored over the weekend, with some nice snaps on the windsurfbritian blog, before a spot of Cream Tea in the afternoon. It also appears Jan Sleigh was on the scene providing the ultimate Cheese-Rolls. Tasty!

To wrap up today then, PWA Freestyler Andy ’Bubble’ Chambers has just blogged about his epic Camber and Whitstable sessions and we have a sneaky feeling there is more to come…
