Steven Van Broeckhoven (, the 2011 PWA Freestyle World Champion features in this action-packed, new webclip, celebrating his year. Thanks have to go to for this one.

No holds barred now and it\'s straight to a head-to-head interview, on the Starboard Website, of the PWA Wave Champion, Philip Koster (17) and the PWA Slalom Champion, Bjorn Dunkerbeck (42). The full story is in the next RedBull Bulletin magazine (Germany) but for now here is a snippet on Anybody else notice a similarity between the two World Champions, except for their lack of attitude towards fear...

Staying on the Starboard website and here is a report from PWA Freestyler Dieter Van der Eyken about sailing perfect flat water and wave spots down-under. More on If you took a moment to look around whilst you were on there you may have come across this little teaser for a Starboard windsurfing movie to be released on DVD and online in January.

From one movie to the next. Check out Mikey Clancy in the latest issue of Windsurfer International. A short piece by him and a nice webisode titled - Sea For Yourself. More can be found on Mikey\'s Blog -

Sticking with Ireland for the moment and speed-sailor Oisín van Gelderen has just taken the Irish peak speed title, hitting 47.886 knots. It seems on the same day Noelle Doran took the overall Women\'s 2011 speed title for 500m and also 3rd Overall in World (2011) for 5x10 sec average and 5th Overall in World (all years) for 5x10 sec average. Impressive stuff and all on Irish waters. Here is a video of that record breaking day and links to Oisin\'s and Noelle\'s blogs.

Next on the video front and back to UK shores now; it looks like Nik and Ant Baker scored a nice session at West Witterings recently and DS-Productions was there to catch it all on film. See for yourselves below.

Round UK rider blogs then, and first off, James Randall ( is currently out in Tenerife, getting a bit of experience at the OTC centre. Bubble ( has had a few good sessions in Cape Town and Chris \'Muzza\' Murray (k202windsurfing) is enjoying an \'awesome hectic windy week\' in the UK. Let\'s be honest that may well develop into two or three weeks. Winter storms anyone!

To warmer climes quickly and let\'s round up the ISAF RS:X World\'s as the women\'s final results came in over the weekend. Top 3 went to; 1st - Lee Korzits (ISR), 2nd - Zofia Noceti-Klepacka (POL) and 3rd - Marina Alabau (ESP). Our UK girls came in 7th - Bryony Shaw, 31st - Izzy Hamilton and 44th - Claudia Carney out of a 68 strong fleet. On the men\'s first day and it looks like Eliot Carney has put in a strong early performance.

The final wrap of the day comes from Lea over at, who has been reporting on the \'Clash Of The Titans\' Kirby sessions over the past few days. Keep up to speed with it all on his blog, as given the current forecast there may well be more to come.
