The wind looks set to continue for a while, look out for photos and videos soon. First reports suggest Steve Thorp has been absolutely smashing the speed runs, with a potential peak of 54 knots! Before it is all officially announced, redsurfbus.com has released a great report covering an incredible speed session at West Kirby. Where Steve Thorp wasn\'t the only one over 50 knots! The 2010 PWA wave champ, Victor Fernandez, has spent the past couple of months training in Maui and has posted this super nice video. Showing that he also rips in down-the-line conditions.
Victor will be keen to win back his title next year, but looking forward again, and perhaps one day, 11 year old Loick Lesauvage (F-780) will be spoken amongst the names of PWA world champions.
