First up has to be the young and talented Oscar Carmichael. It seems not even school exams are stopping this kid from hitting the water at every spare opportunity. We wonder if he is as quick at learning in school as he is at learning windsurfing moves. Check out his blog update with a couple action clips – oscarcarmichael.blogspot.com.
Perhaps one day Oscar will be seen on the student scene… If so then he will no doubt get the opportunity to go on the SWA Summer Holiday. Which, for this year, has just been announced to be taking place at the ever popular Club Vass. Head over to swa.co.uk to secure one of the very limited 80 places.
For our first video of the day we head over to Brazil. PWA Freestyler Arrianne Aukes joined a whole host of other riders in Jericoacoara this winter. Here is her version of it.
Now here\’s something new. Flowindsurfing.com have come up with an added twist to their Hunk of the Month feature… it\’s now a battle, where you get to decide who is the hunkiest guy of the two. Don\’t worry guys there is no full nudity but there is a bit of comedy as George Shillito and Chris \’Muzza\’ Murray go head to head. Get your votes in and check back soon to find out who came out on top.
Sticking with UK riders and Ben Proffitt has been celebrating his birthday in style. Check out the pics of him \’spot-checking\’ some of West Australia\’s breaks from the air, on facebook.com. Aleksy Gayda who is currently living it up in Cape Town, has managed to hit his local news at home, check out more on his blog (aleksyk412.blogspot.com) and the news item on echo-news.co.uk. Meanwhile, also spotted on facebook, Sam Ross has made an announcement that suggests the W4CR 50 loop challenge is back, or will it be a 100 this year… Not sure what we are talking about, check last years video for some looping, speedo and sore botty action…
To feed the wave-heads, here is some nice action from Leo Ray whilst testing his new GoPro.
More action from the French, in the shape of a cold looking winter session, or 3…
The last clip for this morning comes from the epic Windsurfing Movie II. Levi Siver and friends shredding the Marshall Islands. Like what you see, then be sure to grab yourself a copy of the whole movie over at thewindsurfingmovie.com.
Finally it\’s the Russian freestyler, Yegor Propertinsky who has the final word this morning, with his round up of 2011, over at jp-australia.com.
