News Headlines – Mon 20th

Good morning everyone and welcome to a new week. There is lots of news to share so we will jump right in with a round up of what the pros are blogging about.

Paul Zeper is still out in Maui, scoring a super-windy session at Ho\’okipa and managing to avoid the rocks after last week\’s incident. Looking good HERE. Phil Horrocks is blogging away from Cape Town as his trip starts to wrap up. A great little report with some cool action photos from South Africa HERE.

Ben Proffit is out in West Oz for his winter training, but due to bad conditions, sadly doesn\’t have much news to share except the addition of some glorious facial hair! Also out in Australia is Belgian freestyler Dieter van der Eyken reporting that he has had a great week of wind on Facebook. Max Mattisek is out in Bonaire enjoying the amazing scenery, eating fish and getting sunburnt…as well as a bit of windsurfing too.

Over to Maui now for some awesome action from Marcilio Browne. The Brazilian wavesailor and former World Freestyle Champion looks to be as comfortable as ever on the North Shore on his new Goya gear.

Sticking on Maui, Mark Angulo is raising the bar once again. Not happy with his trademark Mutant, Mark was spotted recently attempting Double Mutants, crazy stuff. Check out the clip, filmed by Maui Nerd Productions, on Continent Seven.

Fish Bowl Diaries have published another great interview, this time with top ladies wave sailor Nayra Alonso. With some questions (and answers) that break the mould slightly and some awesome action shots from Amorphia, it\’s definitely one worth taking the time to read. Check it out here.

Fanatic\’s \’Rail To Rail\’ promo video was recently put online for you to enjoy in all of it\’s glory and now, due to popular demand, you can view it in HD. You can see the Fanatic/North team in crystal-clear action here.

Simmer are also busy on the video front, having just launched their own channel on Vimeo. With videos of all the sails in the 2012 Simmer Style range, have a look here.

That is all the news for this morning, don\’t forget to come back later for the PM update with some more video action…
