Welcome to the Thursday AM update.

French freestyler Julien Mas has released a tribute to the late, great Vincent Mellouet. Vincent recently passed away whilst wave-sailing at one of his home breaks and Julien has named a new move in his honour. \’The Mellouet\’ is a Flaka followed by a sail duck into another move. Here, Julien demonstrates a \’Mellouet into Bob\’.

The next video this morning comes from British wave sailor Robby Swift. A Chilean regular, check out Swifty as he takes us on tour of his pimp beachfront house before tucking into some chunky waves on his surfboard and windsurf gear. Think \’MTV Cribs\’ plus awesome action!

Over on Facebook there is a small album showing French sailor Yannick Anton preparing for the upcoming Fuerteventura Wave Classic. The FWC kicks off this Saturday and hopefully the competitors will get some good conditions! Follow the action on the FWC website HERE and check out more shots of Yannick HERE.

Also fast approaching is the RS:X World Championships. The last big race event before the 2012 London Olympics, the event in Cadiz promises to be one to remember. With a prize pot of $45,000, it really is all to play for! Check out a short preview video of next week\’s event and learn more HERE.

Chris \’Muzza\’ Murray, top UK wave sailor and all round cheeky chap, has announced details of his clinic to The Columbia River Gorge. Billed as \’one for the adrenaline junkies,\’ Muzza promises to guide you through some awesome windsurfing, mountain biking and snowboarding this June.  German sailor Gunnar Asmussen has been putting his North Sails Warp race sails through their paces in a training session. He seems completely stoked with the sails, especially the 9.4 for lighter winds. Read more on the North Sails website.
