Over in the Netherlands, ex Hot Sails Maui intern Jip Phillipi reports from a hugely successful coaching event. 90 students were given their first taste of windsurfing in one day as Jip and Inge spent a long day on the water introducing a load of new people to the sport. A really positive and encouraging sign for the sport we think, read the full report here and check out more news from the Hot Sails team on their Facebook page.
Jip\’s successor and top freestyler Paul Zeper has been enjoying some super-windy conditions out on Maui. Paul\’s blog features a selection of shots from the “windy as [email protected]#@” conditions, check them out here.
The team from Maui Sails have also been enjoying the blowy conditions. Winner of the PWA Korea event, Micah Buzianis and the gang have been putting the new TR-8 race sail through it\’s paces at a speed spot in Hawaii. A short clip but some good speeds!
