Good morning all and it certainly has been a blustery weekend. Here are just a few of the highlights below.
Let\\\'s start with a quick one around the UK riders. It looks like a lot of them have been making the most of the wind and an update from Phil Horrocks shows some full on grunty UK conditions - http://mrhorrocks.blogspot.co.uk.
News on the Twitter front is that the likes of Andy \\\'Bubble\\\' Chambers and Max Rowe are out in Vass for the start of the season. It won\\\'t be long before the boys join the other UK freestyle pros; Adam Sims, Jamie Drummond and Phil Richards out in Fuerteventura for the next PWA tour stop.
Having mentioned the current UK Freestyle Champion Adam Sims, check out his website update on www.adamsims.com with a few nice little snaps from a bit of time spent in Austria. Back on UK shores it looks like our intense facebook stalking has undercovered a little SWA reunion weekend with a classic SWA format: windsurf, party and windsurf.
Before the freestyle kicks off though we have PWA Pozo starting one week from now and a TBC PWA Tenerife soon after. Our wave boys are training hard at the moment and you can keep up to speed with a lot of the action via Ben Proffitt and his popular Pozo Training Diaries, so stay tuned for more as we draw closer to the epic Summer in the Canaries!
Meanwhile John Skye\\\'s other half, Nayra Alonso is starting to show the form of a new addition to the family as the little Nayra-Skye baby heads out for a SUP with Mum and Dad. a full update from Nayra on her blog - http://nayraalonso.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/update-getting-bigger.html
A final one from our UK riders. Chris \\\'Muzza\\\' Murray has posted on his blog about his travels including a host of videos. The boy has been busy, Maui, Wales, Ireland, America all in the last few weeks - http://k202windsurfing.blogspot.co.uk
Talking of America here is a final round up report from the AWT Pistol River event, which saw Levi Siver take the top spot, by Matt Pritchard - http://www.pritchardwindsurfing.com
Fellow American Graham Ezzy has posted this Foto Friday on his blog, showing none other than Prince Charles tearing it up on a windsrufer back in the day - http://www.surf-matic.com/foto-friday-45/
Finally we wrap up from the IFCA Pro Kids Freestyle Championships. Day three saw a full single elimination complete in all categories and some pretty happy kids up on the podium. Including 1st place - Michiel De Cooman from Belgium. You can check out the full report and pictures over on C7 - http://www.continentseven.com/2012/06/23/ifca-pro-kids-junior-youth-freestyle-world-championships-2012-day-3/
That\\\'s all for this morning but head back later for more...
