Good morning all, we\'ve got news popping out our ears so we\'ll rattle through it in a short and sweet manner.

The PWA Slalom came to an end on Saturday and for the women it was the last tour stop and as a result the PWA 2012 World Champion was crowned. The event results saw Sarah Quita-Offringa take 1st place, Valerie Arrighetti 2nd and Karin Jaggi 3rd, this meant that Valerie Arrighetti was crowned the new World Champion just in front of Karin Jaggi who took 2nd and for the first time in the history of the sport a Turkish girl was seen on the podium, taking 3rd overall was Lena Erdil.

In the mens side of the tour Antoine Albeau finished up the event in 1st place after showing a solid performance, in 2nd place was Ben Van Der Steen who also held his own in the heats and the last podium position went to Bjorn Dunkerbeck. Just missing out was the UK\'s very own Ross Williams who sailed a very consistent event to take 4th overall. All in all the action was exciting, fast and very much worth tuning in for. With two more stops left, there\'s still plenty of opportunity for other riders to fight for the podium positions but as it stands Dunkerbeck still holds onto the top spot whilst Albeau sits just behind him in 2nd and Van Der Steen in a close 3rd.
