Good morning all, well if you\'ve only just tuned in then the action has already been thick and fast today at the PWA Grand Slam World Cup in Sylt. The double elimination of the freestyle is already over and Gollito Estredo has rocked to the top. Tonky Frans really showed that he had his head screwed on and charged up to 2nd place taking out the 2011 World Champion, Steven Van Broeckhoven on the way as well as Kiri Thode. Another to impress was the young Youp Schmit who excelled in stronger winds and small waves, taking his highest ever overall result with a 5th place. So far no highlight clips of the action yet but below are two really nice edits from the first round of competition, one freestyle and one wave.

For the wave video you\'ll have to head over to this link -, it is certainly well worth the visit.

One of the biggest shocks from yesterday came from Bjorn Dunkerbeck who crashed out in the final when he catapulted. Well these were the early reports and it has come to light that it was actually a massive equipment failure as the mast snapped above the boom and as a result the sail ripped in two! We must point out that it can happen to anyone as there are reports that the same happend to Albeau during practice. If you fancy seeing the slow-mo of the crash then check out the clip below.

Heading south to Maui and Bernd Roediger strikes again with another edit, check out some super nice wave sailing from the super young Goya rider!

With plenty of wind in the UK it looks like many of our countries finest windsurfers have been hitting the water. UK female Wave Champion, Sarah Bibby has been shredding Gwithian, getting her practice in for the forthcoming BWA Tiree and then BWA Gwithian tour stops. Others who have been out in the waves are the RRD crew; Dave White, Jem hall and co, check out a nice gallery here. One last gallery, back to Gwithian, Paul Monnington posted these nice shots of some sweet down the line action.

Talking of RRD, check out their \'little\' demo van... sweet!

Whilst on the photography theme, Si Crowther has a snazzy new website packed full of epic shots, head over to for more.

Finally, we started with him and he has virtually two hands on the World title for this year, so let\'s wrap up with this super talent by checking out Gollito in Tarifa. How does he get that high!! If you like that then we are pretty certain you are going to like Andre Paskowski\'s latest edit - Rewarded. It follows the life of Gollito Estredo from when he was just a kid right up to the current day. The premiere of which, will take place at Sylt in the coming days.
