Kevin Pritchard continues to dominate the PWA windsurfing scene with his latest Super X victory. Pritchard who was the last PWA overall windsurfing world champion is once again showing his all round windsurfing supremacy.

He didn’t have it all his way though, once the discard kicked in Albeau was breathing down his neck. Baker won the penultimate race really putting the cat amongst the pigeons. The last race was a photo finish, neck and neck, which is something you really don’t expect from Super X. But when you get such intense competitors they will give everything to win. In the end Kevin Pritchard only won by 1.3 points over Antoine Albeau. Reigning Super X world Champion, Matt Pritchard came 3rd overall. Nik Baker 4th, Peter Volwater 5th and Ross Williams 6th. Robbie Swift also showed a return to form in the last race by coming 3rd.

The new rules of running Super X in lighter winds have allowed what last year will have been a non event to come through with some good racing. The PWA now have some good solid events under their belt.

The next Super X is in Lanzarote, and will be a nail biter with the rankings so close
