Student Windsurfing Association\’s Endless Summer…

More news and pictures from Tanya Selah and the Whacky Student Windsurfing Association\’s riot on Maroc..

It has been 3.4 – 4.2 weather for 4 days and Moulay has been going off. The way the tides are at the moment this has been good jumping in the morning; then as it starts to come in over the day, the riding gets better and better. Waves have not been huge, but the biggest have been the odd logo set. It is tons of fun.

Since the last update Camp UK has now trashed;
2 booms, 2 boards, and 2 more sails (all can be repaired bar the booms)
and fins are getting shorter and shorter thanks to the deceptively shallow depths at low tide.

General health is also quite low….Bob\’s doesn\’t work neither does Matt\’s foot, Sam\’s wrist and my neck (not that this is stopping any of us from windsurfing, it just gives us an excuse to moan!).  Really, we have never known students to moan..

Also the “Moulay\’s” have been rapidly making its way around the group-there are only a few of us that the dreaded dark evil of the night hasn\’t attacked yet. (the moulays being the shits). Gramps (inventively named so because he is the oldest in the group at 25) has had a rat in his van for a few days, and despite numerous efforts to get rid it is still alive and continually removing bait without settin off the traps! He was enlighted today by the Moroccans who told him that the perfect bait for rats is tomato, olive oil and oregano…it seems the rats round here eat better than us.

Chris has had the underwater housing out and is getting to grips with it…see pics (labelled underwater)…..this would not be possible without the sponsorship of “Cameras underwater”, also attached pic of comedy orange truck which rocked up next to us yesterday, neat…
