The massive south swell made its way to Hawaii, the perfect direction for Maalaea. Surfers reckon on the biggest for 10 years.
So whilst Jason Polokow and Robert Teriitehau were playing into the pit at Teahupoo, Josh Stone, Mich Schweiger and Robby Seeger were having a bit of there own, at this remote spot along the Maui Lava fields on September 15th.
The Guys had spent several days tracking the swell, but closed roads from massive waves were stopping progress. A couple of days later they managed to squeeze past the bulldozers.
Robby, Josh and Michi were stoked out their mind to be sailing this spot alone in such epic conditions.
