4 Nations Cup..

3.5 weather hit Brandon Bay with full force today. The UKWA 4 Nations cup kicked off in the only way that Dingle could offer, yep it was a massive Dump. Well, not that massive the swell movement was not so big considering the wind. Since internet connection is a bit of luxury over there we can only give you the results so far, hopefully the intrepid Boardseeker Team will give a more indepth report soon.

Any way, in first place and after taking a year out of UK competition it is John Skye, in second it is John Hibbard (so two Johns and windy Dumps – I know what you are thinking!), in 3rd we have first seed Chris Audsley, 4th Jamie Hancock and in joint 5th Andy King and James Cox. Most of the UK fleet have not even looked at a windsurf board in the last month due to the lack of wind, so they must all be cursing Chris Audsley for picking John Skye up from the airport fresh from Maui on Friday and then ferrying him over… We know little from the amateur fleet yet, although we know the only lady entrant, Boardseeker\’s very own Louise Emery, has been making good work of some of the gents. (ok no more toilet jokes from now on).
