The results of the junior competition are in and it was a tough final battle between Loick Lesauvage and Noah Vocker-Roche. Whilst Lesauvage had the edge with the waveriding, Vocker-Roche's jumping skills put him straight back in the mix. But it was Lesauvage who clinched the win, with Pare in third and Salmonn fourth. Planing forwards, clean backloops and pushloops were all on show from the top youth riders - it won't be long until some of them prove themselves in the PWA fleet too, we are sure.

Today here in Gran Canaria it is all about the kids, with the junior competition in full swing. The wind and waves have dropped slightly providing the perfect opportunity for the junior riders to showcase their skills. With many of the kids, like Loick above, making it into the main PWA competition too the juniors is proving to be tough too! We'll have full wrap up of the junior competition very soon.

There is already a great amount of media coming from the event already, including some incredible videos... a few of which you can see below. Of course Boardseeker HQ is now currently working on the full podcast and more clips (like this 30 seconds of Koster) from the stand out Pozo performers, so stay tuned for more.

Philip Köster breaking the boundaries again, just one aspect of an epic final here in Gran Canaria.

I think this was the best I ever sailed in a heat, so I was really pleased with it even though I lost to an on fire...
