PWA Maui – Noireaux Nails It In The Single Elimination

Morgan Noireaux has once again pulled it out the bag at the PWA World Tour stop in Maui. Having won the event in 2014, Noireaux sets a huge precedence that he is the man to beat when it comes to starboard tack riding events. A hugely talented competitor who has shone year on year not just at this PWA event but also on the American Windsurfing Tour. Noireaux took victory in the single elimination ahead of some fierce competition and managed to dispatch the likes of Kevin Pritchard, Marcilio Browne and more along the way.

In a dying swell and light winds it was all about wave selection and consistency that saw the top 4 advance to the final. Just missing out was none other than the legend himself, Robby Naish, who made it all the way to the semi-finals. In the same heat but advancing to the final was Camille Juban who had an absolute blinder and showed promise to even win the event. However the final had a different story to tell and it was Kauli Seadi who secured second place, closely followed by a charging Thomas Traversa.
