The Breakdown – Mon 14th – PWA Klitmoller, Sims Shredit, Vrieswijk World Champ and Friis Retires…

Live right now is the PWA World Tour stop in Klitmoller, the Cold Hawaii classic has a great forecast ahead, strong winds today but dead offshore means small waves so competition is on standby. Nevertheless the livestream crew are doing a great job with interviews, catch-ups and mini features throughout the day. So tune in and be sure not to miss a thing.

Sticking with events, the Junior and Youth World Freestyle Championships came to a close last week with Amado Vrieswijk taking the title. Here’s a short video summarising the final day.

On the freestyle scene and Adam Sims has released the 4th video in his 2015 Shredit series. Action from Under The Bridge in Vienna, Sims hooks up with local rider Martin ‘Leni’ Lenhardt for what looks to be a classic day of action in a very ‘normal’ windsurfing spot.

Keeping it relatively short today we wrap up with this video from Chris Friis. A competitor on the PWA wave scene, Chris has already announced his retirement from professional competition at the young age of 25. Here is his farewell tribute video, pure class and style.
