Plenty of action over the weekend. With back to back PWA events in the Canaries the crew are certainly being kept busy.

First up, Antoine Albeau had an awesome final days racing to secure the event win in Fuerteventura over the weekend. At the same time he continues to remain the man to beat as he rules the PWA rankings with a concessive lead. Read more on that by clicking here.

Sitting just behind Albeau on the overall rankings and taking an impressive third overall is Ross Williams. The Brit was charging during the event and also found his form particularly in the last 3 races. Meanwhile second place at the event and now third on the overall tour was Matteo Iachino who relied on a consistent set of results during the stronger wind days to secure his spot on the podium.

Now we take a break in proceedings to bring you one of the most exciting video projects to hit the world of water-sports in a long long time. The crew behind the popular snowboarding films ‘The Art of Flight’ and ‘That’s it, That’s all’ have teamed up with pro surfer John John Florence. If that wasn’t exciting enough the video project has been in motion for the last three years and will be released this winter. Find out more by watching this incredible trailer below.

Talking of video projects and it looks like a few are in the making from the freestyle pros. Davy Scheffers, who is taking old school into new school, promises a fresh clip called Legoland, which will drop in the next days, following that will be a video from Brazil, which we will be featuring right here on Boardseeker. We are also expecting a new clip from UK freestylers Adam Sims and Max Rowe, who have been working together on something from their Easter trip to Egypt.
