With a slight break in proceedings we are back with plenty of action from the last two days.
First and foremost is this inspiring edit from Jamie Hancock and the Gaastra/Tabou team who were competing in Fuerteventura this summer. If you missed it then check it out by clicking here, below is just a screen grab of the action that you simply cannot miss. It’s one of our favourite Fuerte edits in a long time.

Another edit packed with stoke is this one of a cheeky young Franzi Fix, the kid from Cabarete, better known for its kitesurfing, is hooked on windsurfing. Considering his current rack of trophies we see him with he could be one to watch out for in the future, in the meantime here is our first look at this young and motivated wave sailor.
A quick peek at facebook and we couldn’t help but post this perfect shot of Robby Swift sending a pushloop into forward. Filmed from the heli-angle it is no wonder this shot is getting quite a bit of attention.
Thanks Lars Pedersen for filming this push forward clip at the JP AUSTRALIA photoshoot. Using my 4.7 NEILPRYDE WINDSURFING Combat HD and the 84L Thruster Quad with my standard 14.5cm/9cm Maui Ultra Fins X-Quad R setup. #Mysticboarding

2 days in Peru, a short video featuring a few guys who turned up early to Pacasmayo for the AWT event that is soon to be hosted there.
Talking of the AWT, it looks like conditions were suitable enough for the pros to take to the water in the end. With a long competition window this meant that these guys could get out in the best possible waves. In the end it was Kevin Pritchard who secured the top spot, closely followed by Boujmaa Guilloul from Morocco and Ian Lemnos from Brazil. With this result it is in fact Boujmaa who now leads the tour and will go into the next event in Pacasmayo wearing the yellow jersey. Check full results and full report here.

To wrap up today and finish with more event news, the PWA event in Alacati managed to get underway yesterday. With a few early exits the final heat certainly had one or two fresh faces but it was to be a great day for the Mortefon’s. Pierre Mortefon managed to to take the first round win whilst his sister took 2nd in the ladies, yet it was Fulya Ünlü who secured the opening elimination as fastest female, putting a stop to the Mortefon takeover.
More from PWA Alacati as it happens right here.
