It's game day - our fresh new boardseeker will be up and running at some point throughout the day. There will be a few new features on it realted to the daily news, including the ability to leave your comments and feedback. Be sure to do exactly that as we are keen to have you involved in what goes live. You will also find that from the launch day onwards, the videos will be posted in a much larger scale so you can watch them without sitting 10cm from the screen, or you can always select the full screen option anyway. You will even be able to rate the articles and features and share your favourite reads to your friends. The usual weekly features will also appear on the site and the daily news will go back to its past form of one update per day but keep checking back as new snippets are added to the news throughout the afternoon. Tune in later to be the first to witness the new layout (or maybe you are here already... in which case, take a look around).
Heading over to our first video of the day, we have one from the popular event that is the National Watersports Festival. Top UK freestyler Max Rowe caught up with Jim Collis at this years event and here is the outcome.
Max Rowe has also been on his annual migration to Brazil recently where he travelled with the young up and coming Oscar Carmichael as well as a few other Brits. Freshly tanned and back in the UK we can no doubt expect them on another flight soon. For now check out the great photos by Max's better half, Bethany Mercer. Spotted also is the odd tripod shot, nope that's not Josh Willmot out there but it does look like we can expect one or two sweet videos in the making.
For some serious high wind acton now we head to Pals just south of Costa Brava, where regular windsurfers scored some epic Autumn fronts and produced this great clip, check it out.
Over to Maui now as Morgan Noireaux takes us on a ride with the North Hero. Another quality edit that makes you want to stop what you are doing and hit the water...
Catching up with a few more UK riders, we have news from Ben Proffitt who has already scored a Heli-Shot in his first week on the water down under, check out a great snap here. We also hear from John Skye, the new father, to his daughter little Lily, shows us how the training has already begun for the future windsurfing ripper.
For the last bit of news this morning, Martin ten Hoeve has hooked up with Thomas Bouwman to shoot a few clips during a 10bft storm day, including this decent backie. We are looking forward to the final edit, but in the meantime check out the full feature on our homepage.
